You pace back and forth waiting.
He should be here any minute. What if you miss each other? What if he can't see you?! You shake your head and let out a sigh. It's going to be fine, you tell yourself. You check your phone "No new messages" appears on the screen so instead you check the time. His flight should have landed a few minutes ago. Oh how you couldn't wait to see him.
Your boyfriend, Eridan, just got back from a 4 week photo shoot in New York. Eridan has become a pretty well know photographer in the past few years and thanks to that he's been traveling a lot more. Though you were very happy for him you just couldn't help but worry. There were so many things that could go wrong and not to mention all the women that he has to photograph. Since they're all models they must be super pretty, and you? You were just his childhood friend from your average town...
Suddenly you hear someone call your name and you're snapped back to reality. "______!" You hear again. You look around until your eyes finally fall on Eridan standing across the room. You smile and start running over to him. "Eridan!!!" You call out and jump into a warm embrace. He he hug you tightly not letting your feet touch the ground. "Mmmm I've missed you," He mumbles into your hair. You hug him tighter burying your face in the crook of his neck. "I've missed you too... It's so good to have you back." Eridan lets you down but doesn't let you go. "So how was New York?" you ask. Eridan smiles as if he was in love. "Amazing! It was just... beautiful." You don't know why but you feel a little pain once he says that. "But That beauty could never compare to the one right in front of me," Eridan smiles tilting your head up towards him. You blush a little and smile. "Welcome home Eridan." He smiles back and gently kisses you.
"I'm glad to be home."

Welcome Home ~ Dualscar x Reader
You are curled into a ball in the corner of your couch, a shirt that is not your own enveloping your body. It smells faintly of rain and Old Spice, and ends well past your knee. Somehow... somehow it is managing to soothe the loneliness that had been aching your heart for the past two days, but only just barely. You sigh, your half-lidded eyes shifting wearily away from the colorful blur of images on the television screen to the outside world. The streets are dark, lit by the dim glow of the streetlights stationed at the corners and by the cars that drone by.
Suddenly your ears prick up at the sound of an approaching one, and eagerly you sit

Y/N.
It was the first day of school. Not your first day of school, oh no. You had been attending this school for all of your memorable education, from Pre-K, all the way through to your new class, the 10th grade. You are sixteen, and, once again, the first day of school has come around to frighten the unprepared and new, to enlighten the geeks and the nerds, and to leave the prepared motherfuckers like you, unfazed. You have a reputation for being generally good at school, and almost all other extracurricular activities

...A sphynx, curled up under the radiator.
No wonder he was, considering that he had no fur and the room was pretty chilly.
I went over, crouching down.
"Hey there, little buddy. You cold?" I asked.
His red eyes hadn't left me since he spotted me.
"You wanna come out from there?" I wondered, but he pressed more against the wall as I held out my hand.
"Alright, I won't force you. I'll just go tell Louise that I found you, so wait here." I told him, stood up, and went over to the room Louise was chasing animals in.
I snuck in quickly and went over to her, tapping her shoulder.
She turned to look at me.
"He's a sphynx, right? I found him under
